Weird Commotion
by Rajender Krishan Bookmark and Share

In this new millennium
I am being forced
to pass through
a state of commotion
that is weird …
like the killer quake
and the Tehelka scoop.

While the insipid society
crumbles under pressures
of corrupt governances
My very being
– that of a common man –
seems to transform
into a headless, heartless
persona
that is helpless and frustrated.

Will I ever wake up again?
