For a while I gave this some thought
and I must admit at last I join reluctantly
To be a proper poet
is hard work you see.
Words must get together
in perfect harmony.

no painted pictures can afford.
Now I know how to get rich,
exactly what to do.
Every week, if I want, I'll work a night or two.
Each day I'll sleep till noon.
At last the end of eating at the greasy spoon.
5 minutes undercover,
no more,
and I discover
a painters secret of the trade.
To let the white mountains get a shade,
just apply some strokes of grey,
Smear on some brown,
and voila, the ugly toad
is the beginning of a winding road.
