Unsung Lyrics

  "Life is a journey“, they said
and
I kept traveling the road ahead.
It took me a lifetime to realize,
The road led nowhere.

“Time will heal”, they said
and
sorrows I heaped unto myself.
Heal though it never did,
taught me to live with it instead.

As I lie on the ground,
Unclothed and dead,
The soul’s long gone
and
they still chant around,

Life is a Journey
and
Time will heal.
