The Obsolete
by Meenakshi Madhur Bookmark and Share
  The obsolete
losing its relevance
decaying slowly
weakening surely
fearing its disappearance
rejection and non-acceptance,
makes futile attempts
at taking shelter from
the mad rain and outpour of
the dynamic electronic
and revolutionary new
being adapted, adopted
and embraced by one and all
quicker than the blink of the eye.

The obsolete
losing its relevance
helpless but not hopeless
hopes for a messiah to appear
and become its savior
by assigning it a new function
rendering it a new definition
and giving a new meaning to
the remainder of its existence.
