Mahindra formally inaugurated its R&D centre in Chennai in 2012. The Rs.650 crore facility is spread over 125 acres in Mahindra World City, an integrated business city that has been built on a public-private partnership model between Mahindra and Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation.
Innovative product creation and engineering services are the cornerstone of any company with global aspirations and Mahindra Research Valley [MRV] will function as the crucible for innovation and technology within the Mahindra group. This was the press statement issued by Mr Anand Mahindra, managing director, Mahindra group.
The facilities at MRV will allow engineers and designers the freedom to pursue activities in areas like environment friendly advanced propulsion systems : hydrogen fuel cells, bio-diesels, hybrid vehicles, infotronics, artificial intelligence and advanced telematics. The MRV will conduct research on polymer technology for automotive applications and vehicle passenger safety. MRV’s state of the art communication networks will enable automotive global networking. The facility will develop prototypes and components which will be transferred to high volume production lines at Mahindra’s different manufacturing plants located in India and abroad.
MRV also has an engine development center that has the latest software and hardware that helps in research on emission reduction. The center also includes prototype building and testing of engines. The center has networks with global auto manufacturers through which the company expects to do benchmarking.
Due to these facilities, Mahindra group is expected to get the benefits of indigenous design at lower costs and shortened product development cycles. When these efforts are aligned with advancements in automotive technology, this would result in a dramatic increase in its Intellectual Property. The Mahindra XUV 500 was the first product designed and developed at MRV. The R&D center will enhance the image of Chennai as a global R&D hub for global automotive design and development.

Dear sirs, I hope all newly launched vehicles share a common rigid chassis where in you have concentrated only on toughness to with stand Indian road condition. you should also consider the comfort of the passengers inside the vehicle. there was a common feeling and public opinion all those vehicles developed in North were good like Bolero, Scorpio and old version of Xylo. The R & D team will have to think well to present and sustain in the market. |

Dear Sir Greetings!!! I have made prototype Gravity Engine this engine will take 1 input gives 1000 times output. refer F.M Chalkali's energy multiplier and Fernando's force multiplier and Chas Campbell Gravity Engine.These are reference for me to achieve 1000 time o/p model. Further i want to continue with any Mechanical R&D centre Any one can help me to give free current and transfort to all Bye Prof P.Selvaraju |
