Vak Saraswati The Mother of All Religion

Dancing “8”-Armed Saraswati, Halebidu, Karnataka

Vaac-Sarasvati in Her Spiritual Aspect integrates all religions of the World – particularly, Hinduism (Vedic-Upanishadik Dharma), Buddhism, Christianity and Islam. No Dharma is without Her.

In historical chronology, Vedic-Upanishadik comes first, then Greek philosophers (also contemporaneous to some Upanishads), then Buddhism, then Christianity, then Islam. (I will discuss other religions later)

In Vedic Philosophy, in a RgVedic verse, Vaak is the “spirit’s aim and object,” and the one who knows and has learnt the application of chanda is the 8th Hero who gains Vaak (RV- 10.114.9). Krishna in representing "8" is Vaag himself.
Vaak is All-God - Vaag eva devaa (Brhadaranyaka Upanishad-1,5.6 ||
Vaag is Brahma - Vaag vai samraat paramam brahma (Brhadaranyaka Upanishad-4.1.2)
Vaag is the goal of Vedas - evam sarveshaam vedaanaam Vaag ekaayanam (BrhUp_2,4.11)

Jesus found the same wisdom, and so the Bible begins – “"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God... And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth..."

The 6th century BC Greek philosopher Heracleitus proposed that there was a logos in the cosmic process analogous to the reasoning power in man.  The Greek speaking Jewish philosopher, Judaeus Philo of Alexandria (15 BC - 45 CE), taught that the logos was the intermediary between God and the cosmos.

Mohammad found the same wisdom in founding Islam. The Quran says that God creates through words - "It is He who gives life and causes death; and when He decrees a matter, He but says to it, ‘Be,’ and it is." (Quran 40:68). Further, "Indeed the likeness of Jesus to God as the likeness of Adam; He created him from dust, then said to him, ‘Be,’ and he was." (Quran 3:59)

The Quran refers to Jesus as a "Word" from God as follows -
"…O Mary!  Behold, God gives you good news of a word from Him, who shall become known as the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary..." (Quran 3:45)
"…The Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, was only a messenger of God, and His word which He conveyed unto Mary..." (Quran 4:171)
"…God gives you good news of (a son whose name is) John, (who comes) to confirm a word from God…" (Quran 3:39)

Mohammad himself tells to refer to previous Books in case of doubt with his sayings –
Quran-10.94. If you are in doubt about the truth of what We have sent down on you, then ask those who have been reading the Book (which was given to them) before you. Surely the truth has come to you from your Lord, so be not among those who feel doubt.”

So, what are the idiotic fanatics of the world fighting about?

The sacred Vaak – AUM, AMEN and ALAM – represent the same thing – the three stages of existence – Creation, Stability and Dissolution.

All Rshis and founders of Religions (rather, Finders of Dharma) before us, and all Rshis and founders of Religions (rather, Finders of Dharma) after us will reach the same Wisdom.

Vaac-Sarasvati is symbol of that Wisdom. Let different people of different religion call her by different names, but nothing changes for that … let some worship Her as a “form” or “idol”, or let some worship Her as “formless”, but nothing changes for that …

Vaac-Sarasvati is the wisdom that every man strives to achieve …

But the idiot, who kicks a Vaac-Sarasvati idol in the name of “formless” worship, actually kicks his own prophet and religion because the Idol of Vaac-Sarasvati is made of Earth, and Earth herself is Vaac-Sarasvati.

Earth – Prthivii – is identified with Vaak; Vaak is this World - Vaag evaayam loko (e.g. Brhadaranyaka Upanishad-1.5.4), and Vaag is Prthivii (tasyai Vaacah prthivii shariiram | Brhadaranyaka Upanishad _1,5.11).

The Quran says –
"O People of the Book! Do not exceed the limits in your religion, and do not speak (lies) against God, but (speak) the truth; the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, is only a messenger of God and His Word which He bestowed on Mary and a Spirit from Him; believe therefore in God and His messengers, and say not, ‘Three’. Desist, it is better for you; Indeed God is only one diety; far be it from His glory that He should have a son, To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth, and God is All-Sufficient as a Disposer of affairs." (Quran 4:171)

Thus, to worship Vaak is to protect the World – Prthivii. This is one significance of Bhuubhaaraharana (“doing away with the weigh of the World”) for which Krishna was born – and other Prophets too – and in future too similar prophets will be born …

The main point is to fight against oppression, exploitation, misuse of power and autocracy in all its forms – whether “with form” or “formless” – and to me, Vaac-Sarasvati is the “Wise-Warrior-Kavi” for that …

The RgVedic Rshi says – “the one who knows and has learnt the application of chanda is the 8th Hero who gains Vaak.” Now, Chanda is not merely rhythm or metre of poetry, but overall Harmony in Life … and by extension, Harmonious Coexistence …

Comment Good article & message. "Bhuubhaaraharana" - some people say Krishna's main role was to eliminate adharmic Kshatriyas. Do you agree with this thinking? Do you believe in Kalki avatara?
