Hi
I am wondering that in today's times what exactly is the purpose of education?Is it just meant for raising the resume,getting a job or something beyond than that??????

Education, primarily, is to make the learner, a man (woman),a social being with reason and capable of applying reason;to gain knowledge of the world around and prepare him/her to be able to profitably tackle both (the knowledge and the world)for common good.
