Eternal Oasis

I walked through the scotching sun
cutting through the blistering cold
Searching for the hope of an oasis
in the desert of my life
An Oasis where I would quench
thirst of years and decades
The desert of my life suddenly disappeared
in the middle of the desert
thirst and hunger lost definition
When I found you and your comforting eyes
I saw my lady love standing there
and the place transform into a garden
by her sheer presence
I held her hand to my heart and said
"Together I would be all my life with you
for never would I want to go through another desert
after having found the oasis of my life" |
