Irizarry, Commissioner Lucio Fernandez and the team hoisted and saluted the the Tri-colored Indian Flag and participated in the singing of the National Anthem Jana Gana Mana. He and his team presented the proclamation as an honour to Nalin Shah, Ashwin Shah, Manish Patel, Kishore Chawla and Devi Nangrani for their civic services in the Community.

The Mayor was honored with a Plaque on behalf of the Indian Community by Nalin Mehta, who expressed his feelings for the Mayor Bryan Stack saying “ he is very energetic, very enthusiastic, dynamic, and determined to get the job done. He puts the community first and has made the Indian Community feel at home.” In a thanking note Mr. Bryan Stack said that he is happy to see the Indian working in different sectors of Union City showing the harmony of the community in Union City saying “my office is open to you, our hearts are open to you.”
