Wrong Way

I stumbled at the crossroad there -
The first rain set in my eyes,
Silver bells tinkled in skies;
My wanton wishes sang around
As if I was freed from the ground.

Timeless touches lurked in the damp depths of my heart.
My dreams dipped its pinion in the rainbows,
Rustling of dry leaves,
Buds melting in hedgerows.

My way leading no way.
Those words undone, never to say.
I took the wrong road
That took my breath away.

Poem Comment Whither goes the rainbow trail,
A distant desire in hearts so frail
He came to conquer, away he slipped
My heart it was, the wine it sipped
My breath, oh my breath, whisper to me
Would he again this way be?
Kanchan Bhattacharya

Poem Comment You seem to be scared of your own deepest desires. You have known them (which is not the case for most of us) but you are too scared/bound to see them through their realisation.

Poem Comment "I took the wrong road
That took my breath away"
And then I realize, the thought is wrong,
I live, I will live, and have my Way!
