Broken

Hours after hours my tears kept flowing like a rivulet,
My pal came to see me and said I am looking pale,
How could I smile when you made my life a hell?
You slaughtered my heart, stabbed my inner self,
I am so weak that I can’t even get up from my knees,
I waited for you so much but you never came to me,
You didn’t even take my calls or reply to my texts.
Now I have lost everything, my dreams, my hopes,
You have blown away all my desires into ashes,
My love for you has become poison for me,
Which has ruined my life, broken me into pieces,
For so many years have you played with me?
Life has become a journey through the dark,
Where there will be no light of love and joy,
Because you snatched away all my happiness,
By unveiling and showing me your true self.
You have proved that you never loved me,
Everything was part of the game you played,
Congratulations, you have won once again,
I am broken forever till the end of time!
