Is there any need of eyes,
if we merely see,
and do not have the vision?
Is there any need of education,
if we merely earn the degrees
and do not have any wisdom?
Is there any need of having a heart,
if a thick lining of malice and hate covers it
and love does not grow on its bank?
Is there any need to have freedom,
if only the rich smile and the poor shed tears
and the land is overcast by a canopy of corruption?
Is there any need of temples, shrines and traditions,
if deities turn into mere stones
and age-old knowledge is considered as superstitions?
