He has barely
Just enough
Time for sex,
Not for leisurely
Walks or talks.
Don’t blame him.
Life and stress
Have turned him
Into a mechanical
Robot.
Time-tied like those
Tenaciously ticking,
Hands on clocks…

I guess the old man has this to say...
Marionette
If you wish I would be the puppet on a string A pin stuck into my heart
If you wish I would be the slave you always sought A halter round the neck, a moron in part
If you wish I would pack-up- my desire In whiskey, and ride that donkey cart
If you wish, I would be no more elder by the day Yet slowly before your eyes, I would break apart
But if you wish for now For me to be the young man of our honeymoon days I would regret and remind you, I love myself just this way
Though inside I seethe, I wish I could say I love you, but you would still see me as the lecher Teasing you in foreplay
Chauvanistic- perhaps!
