  Sleep dear child of light
come and sleep tonight
for day has turned to night

Hear my prayers sing
to become your wings
In your world of pretty things

With your sword of love
and heart like a dove
protect your friends below and above.

When things go wrong,
Just sing my song,
then it won't be long

I'll come from the clouds,
I'll come from the ground,
soon, my boy, you'll be found

Warrior of time,
weaver of rhyme,
Not loving you is a crime

Close your eyes, my dear delight,
For it is the time of night
let the stars take you on a flight

My delight....
My sweet young knight....
Your smile makes things so right.
