Walking on the Atlantic Beach
I look towards the East
And notice images being drawn
On the Horizon...

Images of
Outstretched arms
Revealing contours
Gracious smile
Craving eyes
Resulting in a Fusion

The same unforgettable face
Walking with the dupatta
Covering her head
Thrown over the breasts
Towards the back
And me holding its tip
Tightly
Lest she may be lost

The tidal waves
Caressing my bare feet
Sometimes rising
Then receding
Playing with my silent mind
While I observe
That I proceed a little deeper
Into the ocean...

My toe thumb
Etching on the sandy tract below
The contours of a boat
That I believe
Will carry me
To those
Outstretched arms
That will envelop me
With love
And I will become alive again.

Poem Comment The tidal waves
Caressing my bare feet
Sometimes rising
Then receding
Playing with my silent mind

A wonderful harmony of thoughts relating to nature, with tender action and reaction. A writer's pen can express imaginary facts and fantacies that go beyond the heights of words.
Very well said
