Keep Time

Like a finger, running across a vinyl blade, my mind wears thin and is left to linger
Players scratching out cacophonies and records screaming out delights of the 1970's the 1980's 1990's
Time's dance grinds to a halt
When the sad music stops with a blue misty waltz
And what do I have to give for? And what do I have to live for?
When the sad music stops with a blue misty waltz
And now we keep time; freeze and tie time; document time in our hot little rooms. Then left to wonder when they're all blown asunder
About the blue misty waltz and sad music that stops.
