Celebration

So much am I filled with this itch
Behind my eye that I can't reach it,
To gnaw at it with a needle to stitch
It's back to organized chaos bit by bit.
It is this day I will dance to my song,
It is this night will I right another wrong.

So much am I caught in this pain
That engulfs me as it spreads,
All over my body like a pox rain
And cuts me into pleasant shreds.
Will I be the star of the scream tonight?
Shall I burn myself to shine so bright?

So what if the widow of failure
Is laughing and slapping me this time,
I am sure that I will surely allure
Her into the web of my sorrow's rhyme.
She shall melt and call me master now
I will whip and kill her faster now.

So much to say with a gun to my head
Waiting to blow my thoughts apart,
Flee, I shall, someday alive or dead
Into the melodies of a classic Mozart.
Will I be flying with the wings of dismay?
Should I be bringing some tears if I may?

So dance with me tonight, Oh! Partner
For you may not see me dance again,
To the drums of solitude shall I scamper
Into the dreamy lands of wail and disdain.
Please shoot your arrows one by one
Won't you join me in this celebration?
