  So simple
So immaculately clean
The lily is in full bloom
Quite at home
In joy of its own
In the water of the pond.
Seeking a home
It doesn't soil its soul.
Let my heart remain immersed in you
In such simple joy
Blossoming in thousand petals
As your offering
Ignoring all doubts.
To reach you
Let it not grope for a way
Or ask for guidance from anyone
Whichever way may I turn
In you only let me roam
When I'll travel in your domain
Spread all over the sky
Your sweet flow will touch all my limbs
And your air like a friend
In great affection
Will rush to my breast.

Translation of perhaps the sweetest and most unique devotional song - Amal kamal sahaje jaler kole anande rohe phutia - by Rabindranath Tagore. Best recording of this song is by Dwijen Mukherji. The original with its swaralipi or notation may be seen at http://www.rabindra-rachanabali.nltr.org/node/4223.
