Intoxicated by the fever of my imagination,
in the hues of clear light, the dark blue sky,
and the scent of roses you've carried,
words flowed with strange ease, spontaneously,
I could hear the constant drumming of my heartbeat;
through the street of swirling gray stones.
Your long ebony hair swaying in rhythm
in repose, your striking features-large,
shone the purity of classic sculpture.
sky white as pearl, when love mingling with breath
each fiber within me that contributed to the harmony.
The sole grace, no one could presage or explain
the blissful beauty that I feel within.
