Bonds Of The World

I don't know how to reach you
The bonds of the world fetter me.

All the desires of my heart
Are like hot ocean streams
Which burn like ocean-fire
Strike the heart like thunder

Soul is in the midst of storm
But the body's bonds fetter me.

Wind blows carefree mad
Spreads its saffron scent
Sings like newly wed bride
Enchants and enthralls my soul

My heart is dying to fly to you
But values and taboos fetter me.

Breath is quick and body excited
As if I am roaming in wilderness
Lightning seems to thunder-strike
And the whole world seems shaken

I want to meet like sky meets earth
The illusion of horizon fetters me.
