Better sense not prevailing – Faculties failing

Terror attacks are frequent
So are corruption scams.

Girls getting "deceived" by
"Treacherous" men simply
Blindly believing their promise
Of marrying after "first night" or

"Day" in advance; then making
Rounds to police stations and
Blaming wicked men for their
Wretched plight are becoming

Routine of the day; why none
Use their intuition or common
Sense and protect themselves
Before submitting and surrendering
All their treasures to the "beloved"?
Then parents wasting lakhs of money

On non-yielding education; no
Knowledge and no jobs mantra is
Being chanted and recited.
Relishing and nourishing

Vain hopes; careless living
Has become order of the day.

Better sense is not prevailing
All faculties of people are failing
