My Rebirth

My Rebirth1.jpg
I lost my life four years back
Folks asked did you have a strife with your life?
I said no, I was at peace with my life
A stroke came and blew it away
Like a hurricane across the bay

My life loudly cried
Before it died
I asked God for a new life

He sent me lots of gifts and talents
With those gifts and talents
I emerged as a writer
A poet too,

For all the gifts and talents
I humbly bow

God has granted me an enchantingly creative life
It is so good that all the time I thrive

That’s what happens with God’s desire
An ordinary life is lifted to something glorious

I publish regularly
That’s what God wishes surely

I don’t know what’s God’s further plan
If he will grant me happiness without ban
If he does I shall follow him blindly
With my heart singing merrily
