Is There Anything?

Aspirations to touch the sky and beyond
And you plunge me into this everlasting nothingness
Nothing to dream about
Nothing to touch
Nothing to feel
Nothing to see
Nothing to know
And unknowingly you plunge me into self-realization
And while you strive to touch higher
Unawares, you aspire me to delve deeper

Encapsulating materialistic possessions in your grasp
And you affirm my belief that there really is nothing
Nothing to dream
Nothing to touch
Nothing to feel
Nothing to see
Nothing to know
And all the while you are grasping nothingness
And while you sit here bereft of nothing
Unawares, you made me realize there is nothing.
