Ramp to Road

  Full blossomed youth
Of a promising mod
Once fluttering in glee,
Faded away and withered.

Her catwalk on the ramp
Won many a heart;
By showing her talent
From the very start.

But Time's cruel feet
Crushed her upward steps
To the zone of wantonness
From the riches to the rags.

Catapulted fame of hers
Now forced her to beg
For a bit of blue poison
Of discs and romance
To dance to the astray tunes
Satisfying men's carnal appetite.

No photographer over there
With his staring camera
Is now willing to shoot her
Modeling with different poses
With different styles and smiles
On the ramp of insanity.
