As my mind sleeps'
My eye sees far ahead'
The future, not far beyond.
I stare disbelieving,
At these visions,
Visions of the end'
A red hue to the lands green,
The killers run rampant.
Blood flows as the power grows.
Weak they had become, conquered they were.
A white flash, a rearing beast,
Bow clutched, the crowned rider.
Destruction is here'
Clashing noises, the bang of armor,
People caught in a frenzied battle,
The men fight men, men slay men,
War ensues, many lost brethren.
With eyes blood-shot, a blood red charger,
With sword unsheathed, the army's commander.
Death is here'
The hungry eyes gleam.
I see the dry skin, the starved body,
A sadistic savior, for these people,
Holding scales, on a dark-skinned horse.
Few grains of life,
The wages for the work.
Hunger is here'
The end comes nearer,
Disease engulfs.
A pale horse, death comes riding,
King of hell, with him is waiting'
The grim fate of mankind,
Sealed, by this last blow.
Death is here'
