Seasonal Thoughts

The coarse hands of autumn Busy undressing the trees Once colorful dresses they adorned Now performing striptease
The gentle wind that blows And the cool crisp breeze Passionately caressing the bodies of The pretty naked trees
The colorful dresses that they shed Lie at their feet As if a new bed is made With a brand new sheet
Then the cold hands of winter Will be dressing the trees in white And the autumn will depart Going out of sight
