In a time of darkness With a thick glaze of fog, Where truth was neglected And ignorance was beheld; women were nothing.
Nothing but servants, To the fatuous men Who wanted an emancipated waitress To wait on them.
No right to vote, No right to own, No right to think, No feelings; emotions or thoughts; No rights
Trapped in a body With no brain at all, Just a slug With labors to conduct.
But, all caterpillars Turn into luscious butterflies So one day Women bloomed.
Inspiring at bulk, Busting through the seams of stupidity And into a world of equality Women came; women came.
