They are the progeny of darkness
Souls gouged out by greed and arrogance
They burn, they kill, they rape and sell
Their brides, unborn girl-child, accursed daughters
All carrion to the vultures of dowry...
They strip womanhood to tatters
Then weave from the shreds of its dignity
Gilded raiment for their sons!

And then there is us...

The pietistic upholders
Of women's liberty and sanctity!
Pontius Pilates...
We cleanse our consciences
with decibel-perfect
opportune dissonances
Complacent veneers masking
Cowardice and apathy

Us... Silent partners in crime
Us... Macabre shadows
of the offspring of iniquity.
