Silent Endearing

Still'
you and me
as we sat on that bench
watching the endless waters on the shore
that day
we came empty handed
to celebrate the quiet
away from the sounds that had us long bombarded
we sat
watching
the water
the nothingness
watching the stillness
of heart
emotions
situations
and then the breeze blew
touched you
then swayed me
that silent gaze ' our introduction
no smiles
no stares
just a void stillness
4 months
and 3 visits
it's been
I visit this littoral
not for the water
nor the stillness
but that silent endearing
that my heart bears to yours
when I find you sitting beside me
celebrating the sulk
on this very bench
