Why Not?

There aren't many choices worth such fullness, notation.
One seeking all heavens, the other, flotation.
Isn't it so silly?
Dark, willy-nilly?
Offer peace, and now, tumultuous, rotation.

Not knowing is more believable?
Easier to lean upon?
Breathe?
Smell?
Taste?
Why not? Why not go easy?

Understand rules, don't fool sense, only recompense.
That firmness, gain adds, seeing your neighbor's fence.
Understand the child
Playing free and wild.
Just beginning and yet achieved, years and years hence.

Not knowing is more believable?
Easier to lean upon?
Breathe?
Smell?
Taste?
Why not? Why not go easy? Ask yourself.

Why not?

Life is one part of a curvy downhill road.
Uncertainty is your safety belt.
Keep your eyes on the road
While you still have breath in your lungs.
