To My Valentine, My only Valentine1.jpg
My heart, my quiet heartbeat, is only for you.

To reach for your arms bringing warmth throughout,
I say being together is the truest joy I could tout.
Comfortably knowing they are small fires burning,
They capture my constant devotion and yearning.

With each day's rise, my heart, my quiet heartbeat is beset
Being more assured than ever with each passing sunset.
It is a pleasure to grow, to give, and care for each other.
To be life partners sharing, as father and mother.

I told you once I love you, and that moment has never waned,
I love you, my love for you, is certainly more than arcane.
Together nurturing a gift of happiness, being fueled by you,
For which I will most certainly always remain true.

It does not tire to profess that we fill each other's heart.
And that our hearts, our quiet heartbeats, pang once apart.
