Do You Know Me?

I wake up in the morning
And everything seems to be falling into place
I wash my face
And within Gods grace
I could save a life or two

Nothing within this world could prepare you
To hold the love of life within your hands
Praying for the call that is true
Knowing the call is within you

My name within the system is unknown
But my work is true and just
My learning thorough my intentions must
Fulfill the dream within my soul

Rubber gloves caress my hand
As I approach a barren land without truth and trust
But within my soul, I will do what I must
Can't you see?
This is only me
And if you where only there
You, yourself would see that I care
And I will do what I must

No more dreaming of an ideal world
My reality before me has unfurled
Pain and suffering, reality of note before me now
Years of study and training
Missing the sunshine while it's raining

My life I've given to you without expectation
For it is my cause
To better this beautiful nation
Through my bandages, my plasters and my gauze

I hope I have made a difference!...
I'm going home now, good night!
