Many Lives

We do not know for sure But we have been here before Many a lifetime, countless At our inconsistencies we fret Many births to take as yet Let us face it! Be fearless. What is it that governs all That we should rise or we should fall Are they not but our own intentions? Emptiness, bereft of truthfulness in us we recognize To fill it in we take on life our own size We have chosen it! Us the Universe never shuns. Of physical suffering, or emotional turbulence Embraced all with complete acceptance Fills us with a new found Joy that we will never be let down Miracles are indeed in the making Our mindsets if we see it breaking Be yourself, feel the Bliss, never wear a frown. A woman or a man A beggar or of a respectable clan Imbibe in each role , new, rich experiences None is high, none is low Progress maybe fast or slow Time and space is stretched to infinite expanses The face of this earth many times has changed For us all this has been arranged We never cease to pay again and again our visits Illusion so make believe, we forget our Karma We give in to the worldly drama Alas! Suffering is learning the hard way that we indeed are Free Spirits
