I have seen her suffering, seen her hearing words of slighting

That was really a dire time that she had to walk miles and miles;

An untoward situation which had stolen her carefree smile,

And had put her through an unforeseen test of patience proving you are mine.

You tolerated incomprehension and mockery and allowed no flattery,

You had cared for in distress but not heard a word of praise;

Taken all the pain but nothing you had gained.

You walked a path full of hurdle; and finally conquered the hearts of all of them,

It took time, tested your nerves, when you thought everything had gone in vain

No more hope is alive, no more strength in mine and left with only crying.

In the passage of time a bubbling girl transformed into a sensible mother,

An endearing lady perks up into a complete woman,

And from a careless flop into a big show-off.

I am thankful to Him for the precious gift He has given that I see

Sending loads of blessing through her to me,

I could not have been what now I may be.

I am sure of being right in saying that you have a heart that is pious and pure

And I pray to Him that all your ardent wishes come true with a wondrous cure.

I can not live, can not dream a day, and can not find a night without her I say,

You may think me a mad fallen in love of late and can not see anything beyond this bay,

May be you are right, but I am happy, if you all think that way.
