In search of my lost dreams
I wake up in the morning,
Dreams leave my eyes
Without even giving a warning.
In search of my lost dreams
I walk leisurely in my garden,
Tear drops rush down my cheeks
Dwindling my heart’s burden.
In search of my lost dreams
I swing on my easy chair,
With a sip of hot coffee
All the pain I have to bear.
In search of my lost dreams
I like to play my guitar,
Slowly my sorrows melt
In the warmth of the room heater.
In search of my lost dreams
I lie on my bed moaning,
Thinking of your perfidy
My soul keeps groaning.
In search of my lost dreams
I sit in pin drop silence
My mind is invaded continually
With your memory’s pestilence!
In search of my lost dreams
I keep staring at your snap
Then gently I go to sleep
In solitude’s welcoming lap!
