Chennai to Madras, the journey of my mind
Paints the classic canvas of sceneries.
Morning hellos by the veggies of plowlands,
I walk to the school, together with chirping birds.
Drenching in the winter drizzle, journey of four souls
In a bicycle, heeding the nature's orchestra.
Sharing laughs childishly under the sky,
Seeing the stars, I wait for my turn of moon-meal.
Starting out by sunrise, games of seven-stones
Winds up with late sundown on summertimes.
Unwrapping to all, the grey shades of the day,
All things square off under the dining table.
