I wonder, if there will, ever be a day,
when you will be my friend again.
I shared with you the most,
the best, the worst and my happiness, and my pain.
I remember so crisp, when we spoke first
You were such a gentle voice falling to my ears
Then we talked endlessly, for hours in comfort
And i thought, same way, life would pass in years
You said then, something, which was so so beautiful
And i felt, i was blessed to have to know those things
Comfort still remained, but feelings got intense
And we moved in phase, beyond being human beings
We called ourselves soul-mates, and joy came in immense
No worries, we thought, could ever ruin our divine love
But our own limitations, expectations and obsessed natures
Spoiled the core of our bonding, and put it onto nerve
We still dream, we still care, we still miss, we still love but we no more,
can stand each other, in plane of confrontations
We abuse, we hurt, we lie, we talk to rise the pain
If we don't find cause, we fight on false allegations.
This is so very bad, to throw the bonds in the grave
And pity ourselves for the wrong, we do so to each other
Why not for a change, spill our seeds of sorrows?
And be happy for love's sake, until some good comes further.
Lets behave like strangers, and wait till the time does tick
To bring us back somewhere, standing in face to face
We'll start again- but for better, with lessons learned from past
And be friends then forever, to bring this bond some grace.
