I walked many miles in search of peace
But nothing did my efforts yield
I meditated for several hours with sincerity
But I found no clues to happiness
Then just as I was ready to give up hope
I had an extraordinary sort of dream
A messenger from God appeared to me
He led me through many strange lands
Where I saw sights I could never imagine
Amid scenes of poverty I saw plenty
People had so little yet they seemed happy
We travelled across several tiny villages
Until we reached a stable lit up by the stars
And within it was a young smiling mother
With her new born babe all wrapped up
Then turning towards me the Angel said
The infant has nothing not even a home
Yet Mother and child are happy and peaceful
When I awoke my life took on a new meaning
