|The Gardener looked at His Creation
And wanted flowers for an empty space
And then He glanced upon Earth
And saw your sweet, innocent face.
He reached out and wrapped His arms around you
And lifted you to rest
His garden must sure be beautiful
He always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering
He could feel your pain
The lessons here had been learnt
He decided there wasn’t much left to gain.
The journey was getting rough He saw
The mountains were hard to climb
So He lightly brushed His fingers across your weary eyelids
And whispered “Peace be thine”.
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you didn’t go alone
The day God called your name
His angels took you home.
RIP my dear Nana. We will miss you.
