Skin.jpg

It is impossible to believe
That carnal beauty is skin deep
If we embellish our integument and exhibit it
The way we do
Through painting hieroglyphs
Or tattooing symbols on it!

No, no, it cannot be argued
That the epidermis is just a protective layer
That covers the vital organs of the body
If we fantasize the hide
Through cosmetics or skin magazines
Turing it into a fetish!

Look at despotic rulers,
Conmen and crooked politicians,
Who even when they claim that
They are not interested in beauty aids,
Take care of their facade and
Devise subterfuges to save their skins!
