When your serpentine tresses drip dew-drops
on the sparkling contours of your soaked bare body
after a sandalwood scented shower,
the fragrance of musk mingles
with the syllables of my budding poetry.
When your rosy cheeks glow
like the crimson warmth of red wine
you illuminate my words in bright hues
against a grey backdrop of serenity
while my rainbow-coloured poems drift
in the heavenly painted cerulean skies.
When a sensual spark lights up your gazelle-like eyes
and I caress the mole under your dimpled chin,
the ruby-red horizon kisses the glossy lips of moon
and unspoken words arouse veiled verses
curbed in bodily jungles.
When your quivering lips whisper
gibberish words of myriad pleasures,
when your heaving bosom is pregnant with passion
when tongues of flame fan the fires of fantasy,
my sonnet sizzles in the carnivorous cavities
of your sweat-drenched bare body.
When you flutter your eyelashes,
my love poems soar on the wings of imagination
to undiscovered utopian lands -
where sun always smiles and moon never mourns
where flowers never fade
and red roses never wither.
Beloved,
you and me -
let us both fuse in the
flares of flickering fire
like moth and flame,
and dissolve into
essence of eternity…
