How Sad!

  How sad!
Emotionally and physically
I am under the weather
I enter the examination hall, read the question paper and walk out
I re-read the question paper and wonder why I walked out
I re-join my job and am asked to see the Manager
Who gives me two options resign or get sacked
I aimlessly write in my resignation
On hind sight conjecture why didn’t I seek more details?
I return home and am confronted with infidelity
My spouse has eloped with another
My kids stare in silence as if I am responsible
Alone in my bed I awake from a queer dream
I am happy I completed my exam in good taste
My employer is pleased to have my back cause of my loyalty
My spouse welcomes me home with a bear hug
I recline and know what a fiasco am I in
An incomplete degree, unemployed and unwanted
How sad I feel in the deep water I am in?
