the pair of opposites form
a pattern of antisymmetry:
joy and sorrow
light and shadow
love and betrayal
exit and arrival
known and unknown
seen and unseen
heard and unheard
win and loss
after every toss,
yet in the equation of life
with known on one side
and the unknown on the other,
great truths man could discover...
