little children
just  toddled in
and the hall filled
up very soon.
it was to be
a day of fun,
unlimited
sweets - special treats
coloured sparklers,
and crazy games.

Chacha Dipak,
Santa’s new clone
would be coming, 
with a large sack
of toys, goodies
for the poor kids.
Diwali makes
us generous
said the old man
smiling kindly.........
