I Miss you, Mom

I am alone in crowd
I am sleepless in night
every path appears wrong to me
and you are not here, my Mom,
to tell me what's right.

I feel lost in this huge world
I feel like I am broken inside
distress hits me repeatedly
like a rock is hit by tide
and you are not here to encourage me
then how can I fight?

I am unable to see my destination
it's so dark outside.
it's so dark as I can't see anything,
it's darker than the blackest night.
and you are not here, my mom,
to show me the light.

Poem Comment Great poem. I'm sorry that you lost your mother. I know what you're going through. I lost my mom last March and I feel lost also. Your mother would be proud of your poem.

Poem Comment I share your deep feeling, Vikram. The world is full with one person and so very empty in her absence. Thank you for your very emotive poem,
