Eternal Prayer

Your thought in the morning

Inspires me the first thing

When I look at myself in the mirror

You appear within me in the interior.

I seek solace in your very thought

As basic principles of life you taught

I learnt to treat both as a treasure

Be it, a temporary trouble or pleasure.

You decided for me, what is right

Imbibing in me the spirit to fight

Is expectation ever there in a Father?

“Never”, it’s his child’s coziness rather.

I prostrate to you to seek your blessing

Feel your lips on my forehead kissing

Fill myself with the energy of your wisdom

And show the world, your child had blossomed.

Poem Comment A prayer is the cry of the anguished soul as well as an affirmation of the positive values of life. Through prayers a human being can come closer to the divine. Prayers enable human beings to connect themselves with the potent flow of the powerful and divine energy.

Poem Comment An eternal prayer indeed. Simple... yet profound.
