| I am a Kerala-based journalist, now writing in both Malayalam and English. As a journalist I believe in the social responsibility of media profession. Most of my reports have been on various issues like social equality, land distribution, human rights, farmers’ issues, environment etc. I started writing and publishing articles on these issues during my college days, eight years back. More than two hundred articles have been published so far in prominent Malayalam/English dailies and weeklies. I started my career as a journalist first with Thejas Daily, in 2006 and was its correspondent in Calicut,Thrissur, palakkad,Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam and Kottayam. Then I joined the editorial board of Metro Vaartha daily in 2008 and worked as its correspondent in Kochi bureau; there I was assigned lifestyle and film segments. After that I worked in the editorial board of Nostalgia, a lifestyle magazine published from Kochi. My latest assignment was as the co-ordinating editor and manager (Operations) of Energy Manager, an industry-cum-environment journal dedicated to issues in sustainable energy. Now am working with Kalakaumudi as its senior reporter in Kochi. |
