Ramesh Anand is the author of the haiku book, Newborn Smiles, Cyberwit.Net Press, 2012. He is a technical specialist for Philips based in Bangalore, India. He lives happily with his better half, Divya and their best little half, Tanmayi. 

His life experiences, as Haiku moments, have been published and forthcoming in World’s premier print journals, Anthologies, Japanese Newspapers, Magazines, E-zines and E-Journals, in 11 countries. His haiku have been translated in Tamil, German, Croatian, Serbian and Japanese languages. 

His haiku interview has been published by Tobacco Road, USA. His interviews of eminent Haijins (K. Ramesh, Dr. P.K.Padhy & Vishnu Narayanan) have been published in Muse India and Boloji respectively. 

He is the member of The Haiku Foundation and Muse India E-Journal. He participates in some of the world contests conducted by Haikuworld's Shiki Kukai team, The Haiku Foundation, Mainichi Daily News, International Kukai Team, Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival and Sketchbook Kukai Team.
