Rhituparna Chakraborty
Kolkata, India

Rhituparna Chakraborty has more than a decade of experience in managing training and development projects in multinational organisations and corporate houses. Her work has given her a rich and rewarding exposure to different cultures, communities, and institutions. She has been working with NGOs and voluntary organisations as well, an experience that has deepened her commitment to causes such as the fundamental right to education, universal health for women and children, and the right to basic dignity of life.

While Rhituparna’s long-term aspiration is to work towards promoting quality education, with special emphasis on equal education opportunities for children-at-risk, she acknowledges the fact that perhaps the most difficult barrier to be overcome is transforming societal mindsets at the most fundamental of levels. Rhituparna is determined to help transform these challenges into great opportunities, especially for those who often fall outside majoritarian concerns. Her disquiet finds expression in her writings on the essential human condition.

Rhituparna is a graduate in English Literature and a post-graduate in Marketing, Corporate Training and Human Resource Management.
