Connection

I dreamt you one morning

Sitting right in front of me

Wearing a white shirt;

To my greatest surprise

That day I found you

In our hometown

Wearing the same shirt!

I kept on wondering

Did you walk out of my dream?

How’s it possible that

I keep dreaming of you

And they come quite true?

If there’s nothing between us

How can you explain this?

Every single day I get signs,

All those signs pinpoint you.

Why does this happen to me

If there isn’t any divine connection?

I once wanted to delete your album

From my cell in sheer anguish;

It showed a message that dazed me

It said, “this album can’t be removed”

If God wants us to be connected forever

Is there anything we can do?
